WATERS TERMINAL CHARACTERISTICS
The
Deep Waters Terminal (DWT) "San Francisco
Javier Port", it is the Private Port
of public use larger of the world and
the only one in Venezuela located on one
of the most important and vital highways,
the Rómulo Betancourt Highways.
The DWT has been designed as HUB port,
for the containers transfer for the Caribbean
and South America area, as well as multipurpose
Port, with specialized terminal for solids
managing, liquid, bulk, Containers, Ro
Ro Cargo, cruises terminal , Ferry terminal
, Oil. Petroleum and Petrochemical Terminal,
with an area of four million of square
meters and a courtyard area of One Million
Seven hundred thousand square meters.
The docks will harbor 36 vessels of cram
for ships of 200 and 400Mts of Length.
Have 12 Kilometers of docks. All the fuel
services, water, light, telephone, bathroom,
ways and infrastructure of support of
all the annex services.

Its design envisages the construction
of a modern intermodal system with Rail
Road facilities from the different docks
and a connection branch with the future
net of the Rail Road National Plan.
The
DWT count on the most modern equipment
for load and exhaust, storage, refrigeration,
alertness, communication systems, alertness
satellite systems and all the telecommunication
services of the most advanced technology.
Equally it is envisaged the implementation
of a modern Helicopter for emergency,
transportation and tourist service in
the area, as well as an internal water
treatment system eliminating the environmental
pollution, in order to not to impact to
the ecology of the zone.
